Thirsk: Operation Sentry Team targets suspected county lines drug dealer 

On Tuesday (28 April 2026), North Yorkshire Police’s Operation Sentry Team descended on Thirsk to execute drugs warrant in connection with a suspected county lines drug dealer.

As a result, 22-year Patrick Nathaniel Butcher was arrested and later charged with being concerned in the supply of cocaine and cannabis in Thirsk between 1 December 2025 and 28 April 2026.

He appeared at York Magistrates’ Court today (Wednesday 29 April 2026) where he was granted conditional bail.

He is next due to appear at Teesside Crown Court on Thursday 28 May 2026.
